It was in September that the Brihanmumbai Municipal Corporation (BMC) demolished the alleged unauthorized construction at Kangana Ranaut’s office in Pali Hill, Bandra, Mumbai. While this was happening, she was on her way from Himachal Pradesh to Mumbai. The actress approached the Bombay High Court and got a stay on any further action by the BMC. Now, as per reports, the BMC paid Rs 82.5 lakh in legal charges to a senior counsel for representing their case in Kangana Ranaut’s bungalow demolition incident. A report in Times Of India states that an RTI reply revealed the BMC paid Rs 82.5 lakhs in legal charges as they hired a lawyer for representing its case. This RTO information was reportedly obtained by Sharad Yadav, whose first application for the information was rejected, however, on appealing, the BMC gave him the information on Tuesday.  Kangana Ranaut has reacted to this news, and called it very unfortunate.

Sharing the report, Kangana Ranaut tweeted, “Muncipal Corporation so far spent 82 lakhs on lawyer for illegally demolition of my house, papa’s Pappu spending public money to tease a girl, this is where Maharashtra stands today, very unfortunate.” Take a look:
